Answers about supported formats, daily limits, AI models, and privacy — for Pixlift Enhancer free and paid plans.

Common questions

Getting started

What is an image resolution increaser?

An image resolution increaser enlarges pixel dimensions so photos look sharper at larger sizes. Pixlift (Pixlift Enhancer) uses AI upscaling to upscale image files 2x–8x in the browser — a practical image resolution increaser without desktop software.

How do I upscale image files online for free?

Open the workspace, upload PNG, JPEG, or WebP, choose 2x scale, and run upscale. Pixlift is an ai image upscaler free tier with five daily runs. Paid plans add higher scale, Face and Anime models, and priority processing.

What image formats does Pixlift Enhancer support?

PNG, JPEG, and WebP. Maximum file size depends on your plan: 15 MB on Free, 50 MB on paid plans.

Can I compare the original and upscaled image?

Yes. The workspace includes a before/after compare slider so you can inspect detail before downloading.

Do I need to install desktop software?

No. Pixlift Enhancer runs in your browser — upload, upscale, compare, and download without installing Gigapixel or other desktop tools.

Plans & limits

How does the free tier work?

You get 5 upscales per day at 2× scale with the General model, files up to 15 MB, and a small watermark on downloads. No credit card required.

What upscale factors are available?

Free supports 2× only. Starter goes up to 4×. Pro and Unlimited support 2×, 4×, and 8× — useful for print-ready enlargements and AI art workflows.

What are the daily upscale limits on each plan?

Free: 5 per day. Premium: 200 per day with 8× scale, Face and Anime models, and priority queue. Limits reset daily.

Does the free tier add a watermark?

Yes. Free downloads include a small watermark. Premium removes the watermark.

What paid plans are available?

Premium starts with a 7-day trial for $1.95, then renews at $49.90/month until you cancel. You get 200 daily upscales, 8× scale, Face and Anime models, and priority queue.

AI models

Which AI model should I use — General, Face, or Anime?

General works best for photos and mixed illustrations. Face is tuned for portraits and skin detail. Anime is for flat art, manga, and Midjourney-style outputs. Face and Anime require a paid plan.

Privacy & data

How long are my uploaded images stored?

Uploaded and processed files are kept temporarily (default 48 hours) to deliver your result, then removed from storage. See our Privacy Policy for full retention details.

Billing

How do I pay for a subscription?

Premium checkout runs through Creem (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay where available). Create an account, start the 7-day trial on Pricing or Dashboard → Billing, and complete payment on Creem's secure hosted checkout page.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Dashboard → Billing → Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep paid access until then. You can reactivate before the period ends if you change your mind.

Do subscriptions renew automatically?

Yes. After the 7-day trial ($1.95 paid at checkout), Premium renews at $49.90/month until you cancel before the renewal date shown in your dashboard.

What is your refund policy?

Refunds are handled by Creem as Merchant of Record. See our Refund Policy at /refund for the 14-day consumer cancellation right and how to request a refund. You can also manage billing at /dashboard/billing. Contact [email protected] if you believe a charge was made in error.

Should I choose Starter or Pro?

Choose Starter for higher daily limits and 4× upscaling on the General model. Choose Pro if you need Face or Anime models, 8× scale, priority processing, or advanced denoise/face controls.
